Meet The Anchor Shack Staff

Diving: Kevin is a PADI and SSI Master Instructor, Emergency First Responder Instructor and a renewed IDC Staff Instructor. Kevin holds Specialty Instructor ratings in Deep Diver, Night Diver, Enriched Air (nitrox) Diver, Navigation Diver, Dry suit Diver, Underwater Videographer, Underwater Photographer, Underwater Naturalist, Boat Diver, Peak Buoyancy Diver, Wreck Diver, Underwater Hunter, Search and Recovery Diver and Altitude Diver.
Profession: Anchor Shack's Owner and General Manager
Hobbies: Just having fun wherever it is.

 

Diving: John is a PADI Course Director (Instructor Trainer), Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer and is a Specialty Instructor Trainer in Deep Diver, Enriched Air (nitrox) Diver, Navigation Diver, Dry suit Diver, Underwater Videographer, Underwater Photographer, Underwater Naturalist, Boat Diver, Peak Buoyancy Diver, Altitude Diver, Fish ID Diver, Night Diver, and Multilevel Diver. John is also a DAN Examiner and Instructor Trainer, offering all of the DAN courses including Oxygen First Aid, Advanced Oxygen First Aid, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, Automated External Defibrillators, Basic Life Support for Dive Professionals, Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen, and the Diving Emergency Management Provider program.
Profession: John is Director of Training for the Anchor Shack. In his "spare time," John is a Vice President for Thomson Reuters (a healthcare information company).



Diving: Bruce has been diving for longer than 25 years and is a PADI IDC Staff Instructor, Emergency First Response Instructor in Primary and Secondary Care and Care for Children with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED), and is a specialty instructor in AED for Divers, Altitude Diver, Project AWARE, AWARE Coral Reef Conservation, Boat Diver, Deep Diver, Drift Diver, Enriched Air (nitrox) Diver, Fish Identification Diver, Marine Life Injuries, Multilevel Diver, Night Diver, Oxygen First Aid, Peak Performance Buoyancy Diver, Underwater Naturalist Diver, Underwater Navigation Diver, Underwater Photographer, and Wreck Diver. Bruce is also a DAN Instructor offering all the following DAN courses including Oxygen First Aid for SCUBA Diving Injuries, Oxygen First Aid for Aquatic Emergencies, Advanced Oxygen First Aid for SCUBA Diving Injuries, First Aid for Hazardous Marine Life Injuries, AED for SCUBA Diving, AED for Aquatic Emergencies, Basic Life Support for Dive Professionals, Remote Emergency Medical Oxygen, and On-site Neurological Assessment for Divers.
Profession: Bruce is a former attorney and has been a director of finance for a multinational wireless telecommunications company. He also teaches group exercise classes at a local fitness club.
