Now That you've decided to learn to dive or further your dive education, WHY The Anchor Shack?

Are you looking to find your best value where you should learn to dive? Here are some helpful hints of what you should be looking for:

  1. Though the bottom line ($$$) is important, consider what you are getting for your money.
  2. The experience of the instructor staff and the qualifications they hold.
  3. Is the certifying agency PADI (the world's largest and most recognized) or some other?
  4. Does the store have it's own pool available at any time. Some stores don't. They have to use a public pool and only at specific (not so convenient) times?
  5. Can you use the stores pool and diving equipment at no extra charge for practice both during and after your certification?
  6. How long has the store been in business (will they be around for a while)?
  7. Now cost… What will everything cost to get certified, books, required equipment, rental gear, and other costs (staying in Monterey, and travel)?
